8 fuul-beans fried and served with bread
9 meze- a slasa type dish of vegetables
10 taamaya- deep fried fava bean balls
What I Learned: I learned that egypt`s capitol,cairo, is the largest city in Africa!!!! It is located near the narrow strip of land called Garden City.There is a part of Cairo called Old Cairo.This is where most of the city`s oldest monuments are found. Cairo is also the commercail and industrial centre of Egypt.
I noticed through out the project that Egyptain food revolves around vegetables.7 of 10 recipes have grown vegitation in them.Some examples of vegetable meals are these. Kashari,Fafafel,Meze, and Taamaya.Most of the other Egyptiam meals have fish in them.
