What I learned about my country, Iraq, is who their president was, what kind of foods they eat, and their type of money. There was no country of Iraq until it was created by the British in 1920. I found their food very interesting and I may want to eat it,but maybe not, because some of their food did sound gross. I also found out their capital and where it's located. In Iraq I learned that they have five different languages.
Iraq's capital, they have a place called Site of the National Museum of Iraq, a place where you can find facts about their country and what events happend there and when. Iraq's population is around 27 million. I also learned that their President, Jalal Talabani was the fifth president of Iraq and that he was in office for over 50 years. Iraq's main dish is usually rice. One major thing is that Iraq was not responsible for the 9-11 attacks on the United States in 2001. I find the country Iraq very interesting and I really enjoyed this Project !
