What I Learned: I learned that in Puerto Rico most of the people living there speak Spanish. I think that Puerto Rican food is similar to the United States food. I never new that most of the island came from Indians. I also didn't know that Christopher Columbus on his second trip discovered Puerto Rico I thought that was cool. I also didn't know that Spanish and English were both the languages spoken in Puerto Rico.
I learned that the U.S. president doesn't really take care of Puerto Rico there governor does. I also thought before they had there own money they use american money just under a different name. Another thing i learned is that before people moved there it was inhabited by Indians. Another thing is I didn't even know that Puerto Rico was part of the United States. The last thing is that the capitol of Puerto Rico is San Juan.
