Capital: Rabat is the capital of Morocco. The Hassan Tower is located in Moroccan city of rabat.This tower is a minaret, which belongs to an unfinished mosque. Casbah of Oudaia is a traditonal part of the city. It is the places where Oudaia tribes lived.

Money: Morocco's money is used in dirhams. US Dollar = 8.23 Moroccan Dirham.

History:
1.) The official name of Morocco is the ‘Kingdom of Morocco’. It spreads over an area of approximately 710,850 sq km.
2.) Morocco is the 12th richest country in Africa.
3.) Morocco gained independence from France in 1956.
4.) Morocco is situated in North Africa and it is the only African country that is presently not a member of the ‘African Union’.
5.) Morocco is a major non-NATO ally of the United States.

Food:
Spicy Fekkas- A type of cookies. They are flavored with onion, cheese, and hot sauce.

Zucchini and Tomato Salad- Zucchini and tomato with moroccan spices, garlic, and olive oil. Served warm or cold.

Baked Chicken- Has potatoes and olives in it.can be cooked quickly. You can turn it into a full meal if you add carrots.

Couscous- Stew that you can steam. Its better suited for obsorbing tasty broth.

Harcha- Pan fried bread made from semolina flour and butter milk.

Moroccan Meatball Stew- Stew mixture with meatballs.

Moroccan Steamed Lamb: This traditional Moroccan recipe is often made in the days following Eid Al-Adha, when generous cuts of meat are available even to poor families.

Moroccan Chicken with Olivies- Ingredients: 4 Pounds Chicken 2 1/2 Tablespoons Oil 2 Onions 1/4 Teaspoon Ginger 1 Teaspoon Paprika 1 Onion 1/2 Pound Green Olives 1 Lemon Lemon Juice. This dish is Chicken mixed with olives.

Moroccan Roastes Salmon with Mango Salsa- Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups chopped peeled mango 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint 2 tablespoons orange juice 1 1/2 teaspoons commercial harissa 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillet, skinned and cut crosswise into 4 equal pieces 1/4 teaspoon salt. This dish has roasted salmon with mango salsa.

Moroccan Casablanca Couscous- Ingredients: 1 Cup Couscous 1 1/2 Pounds Tofu chopped 1 Cup Carrots sliced 1 Cup Mushrooms chopped 1 Can Chickpeas 1 Can Tomato Sauce 1/2 Cup Raisins 1 1/2 Cups Water 2 Teaspoons Curry Powder 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne 1 Teaspoon Paprika 1 Teaspoon Salt. This is one of Moroccan's most famous dish.

What I Learned:
I have learned that In Morocco they us dirhams and 8.23 moroccan dirhams are equal to 1 US dollar. Morocco is the 12th richest country in Africa. The flag is green and red.
