What I Learned: When I was researching Jamaica I learned alot about their country. To start, I learned that they don't have only one person running their country, that they have more than one person. I also learned that Jamaica uses alot of spices when cooking different foods. Another thing I learned was that Jamaica's capitol was Kingston. I aslo learned that Jamaica is the 3rd largest Caribean island.

While researching Jamaica I learned that their most popular dish is jerk. I also learned that the colors on the flag have meanings to them. I also never knew that Jamaica's first session of parliment took place on August 7, 1962. When I was researching Jamaica I learned that they declared independence on August 6, 1962. Throughout my project I learned that I would like to try their food. If i never researched Jamaica i would have never knew how different their country is from the United States. I would like to visit Jamaica now, but if I never had researched it i would have never wanted to visit there. This coutry was fun to research!
