Flag: Mexicos flag has 3 different colors including red, white and green. Green represents hope for a better nation, red is a sign for blood to contribute to those who have died in war, while white represents the purity of catholic faith. The eagle and its enemy symbolize the opposition between Heaven and Earth. President: Felipe Calderón Hinojosa is currently the president of Mexico and has been since 2006.
Capital: Mexico City is the capital of Mexico. The reason for it being the city is because of its magnificent museums, popular theatres, art centers and scholarly magazines and news papers. Its also very warm there.
Money: The type of money people in Mexico use is peso. Peso bills come in 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 denominations. The bills are different colors and easy to tell apart.

Food:
1.)Tangy Thai Chicken: Chicken breasts marinated, then basted with a tangy Thai flavored sauce.
2.)Creamy Chicken Marsala: Chicken tenderloins are dipped in beaten egg, Topped with a blendead crumbs & dry soup mix, cooked in a soup & wine sauce.
3.)Chili Cheese Bean Dip; A spicy dip with poblano and red peppers, beans, corn, fire roasted tomatoes, and chipotle peppers in an adobo sauce.
4.)Arroz Con Lehe: A sweet and creamy dessert made with medium grain rice, condensed milk and topped with cinnamon.
5.)Mango Salsa: A fruity salsa made with mangoes, red onion and cilantro for a tropical taste of spring.
6.)Chile en Nogada: Mexican dish made with poblano chiles, stuffed with meat and dried fruits, coated in walnut sauce, and garnished with pomegranate seeds.
7.)Flan:A custard dessert topped with caramel syrup.
8.)Salsa-cream cheese dip:A mixture of salsa and cream cheese to make a delicious dip.
9.)Black Bean and Corn Salsa:A salsa mixture with beans and corn usually served on top of torillas or tacos.
10.)Pastel de Tres Leches: A dessert that uses 3 differnt milks in the cooking process.
What I Learned:
I learned a lot while researching about my topic, Mexico. I discovered that Mexico has one of the largest populations. I also learned that a lot of its history has influenced the way their beliefs are today. Their flag has a lot of meaning to them. Our ways of celebration are sometimes very different from citizens in Mexico. Mexican dishes are very popular to people who love spicy foods. Their main ingredients in most food include beans, peppers, corn...etc. I also learned that without the people who first came to Mexico, a lot of things wouldn't be discovered. I found out about different food types and how they are different from our foods in America. While researching i found out a lot of interesting facts about Mexico that i, nor a lot of people don't know. I enjoyed this project.
