What I Learned: I learned alot about South Korea while completing my research. I learned that Japan surrendering ended World War II. Also after that had ended North Korea invaded South Korea with hopes of making one large "Korea" ruled by communist. I learned that the United Nations stopped North Korea and now today the boreder between North and South Korea is highly military protected. I learned that, that is the reason why North Korea and South Korea are such big rivals.
I also learned about the different foods that South Korea has. They commonly use hot sauce in there dishes. Another commonly used sauce is sweet and sour sauce. I also learned that they like to eat a lot of healthy food and they like to incorperate vegtables in every dish that they make. Another interesting thing that I learned was that the Korean flag has a lot of meaning to it. I learned what the symbol in the middle of the flag means. I see that symbol all the time and now I will always know what it means.
