  1. Britain stole the country from the native Americans.
  2. The colonists became independent from the king.
  3. America is half the size of Russia.
  4. We started off as only thirteen colonies and now we are 50 states.
  5. The U.S has 6 of the worlds tallest buildings.
Food:

1. Roasted Asparagus. Asparagus dipped in good olive oil, salt, and pepper.

2. Fried Chicken.This is chicken pieces dipped in egg, then flour, then fried in oil.

3. Hot Dogs. A form of pig that is cooked and put in a bun, usually topped with ketchup and mustard

What I Learned: I have learned that I still remember American History facts. I also learned that the U.S has six of the 25 tallest buildings in the world. I learned what the stars and stripes mean on the flag. Alaska is the biggest state in America, also the last state to enter the Union. Americas motto is "In God We Trust." I learned that the U.S is half the size of Russia.

Here are some more facts that I have learned. At one point people had to pay to vote, this was called a poll tax. Most early presidents thought the earth was flat. The Declaration of of Independence has a long list of complaints against the British king. The Declaration of Independence was written on hemp paper. The original copy of The Declaration of Independence is lost.!!!!!!
